Integrated Arts

For one of my assignments this semester I had to research ways to incorporate the different arts into the everyday classroom. I researched music, creative movement, drama, and sensory activities. I recorded my findings on a google slide presentation. I am going to provide the link below for anyone to view. This was one of my favorite assignments and I enjoyed learning the many different ways arts can and should be incorporated into elementary classrooms!

Here are some pictures of the items I created for this project. I created a puppet for the drama/theater component. My creative movement device was a ribbon wand and I created sensory jars for the sensory component of this project.

Master Appster

I did some research on the app Puppet Pals 2 and found out that it can do some pretty amazing stuff! This app is great for storytelling and many other things. I had to research this app for an assignment and I am grateful that I have been introduced to such a versatile app.

Why I chose to become an educator!

I chose to become an educator for so many different reasons. The most important being the fact that I get an opportunity to make a difference in a child's life. How awesome is that? Children are the future of our world. Knowing that I get to play a small part in what our society will be like in the future is ultimately rewarding. Having the ability to shine a positive light and be a positive role model to a child gives an unexplainable, unimaginable feeling.  I am so excited to start my journey on one of the most fulfilling career paths.
